This mouthpiece is truly considered one of the most sought after holy grails trumpet world.It is a Selmer C trumpet from 1960 build in Paris and Maurice Andre used to play that kind of trumpet on some recordings. Trumpet mouthpiece model tonex, Y-33, which by all accounts was an experimental in very limited production. Excellent like new condition. The item being presented for sale is a Henri SELMER, made in Paris France, slightly rounded semi-cushioned rim.
The trim on the outside of the trombone's case is showing some wear, but the interior is in pristine condition. The mouthpiece is in excellent shape as well. Everything is aligned and moving freely and easily. There are no dents to be found anywhere on the instrument, and the inner slides are in absolutely perfect condition. Our professional brass technician gave this horn a thorough ultrasonic cleaning, and that is all that was needed. Some wear is showing on the text engraving and tuning slide, and some raw brass spots can be found on the gooseneck, but that's it!This is a perfect trombone for a collector, or for anyone looking for that vintage 20's/30's brass sound.
